About The Position

The Mixer Operator prepares doughs according to formulas and scheduled production standards. The role requires demonstrating competency in on-the-job activities that may directly or indirectly affect product safety, legality, or quality. The operator ensures dough is prepared consistently, keeps production moving by mixing dough efficiently and delivering it to dividers on schedule, records required mixing information, and maintains a clean work area. The position also requires following company policies and procedures, including safety and work rules, and performing other duties as directed by supervision or management. No educational prerequisite is listed, but the employee must be able to read, comprehend, and record information needed for the job. Preferred qualifications include production experience as a helper and basic knowledge of mixer procedures and mixer operation.

Responsibilities

Prepare doughs according to formulas and scheduled standards.
Ensure dough consistency through proper scaling and control of mixing time and temperature according to production standards.
Mix dough efficiently and deliver it to dividers on time to maintain production flow.
Record dough temperatures, mixing times, and other required data.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and work rules, EEO, sexual harassment, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Fulfill work schedules, comply with attendance policies and applicable operating rules, and perform other duties directed by supervision or management.
