About The Position

Elk Park Animal Hospital is a longstanding, busy mixed-animal clinic with more than 3,700 square feet of indoor space and three exam rooms. The clinic provides essential services five days a week, including on-call and mobile assistance for large animals and emergencies. Services include digital radiology, cold laser therapy, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, advanced diagnostics, pharmacy services, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, physical therapy, and herbal medicine. The average daily patient volume is 12, the support staff ratio is 3:1, and the case mix includes wellness, surgery, and dentistry, with a majority small-animal caseload.

The veterinarian will provide patient care and build long-term client relationships as part of a collaborative, supportive team. The role offers medical autonomy, skilled technical and client-service support, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth. The clinic is located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
