About The Position

Midway Animal Hospital in Alpharetta, Georgia, is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian (DVM/VMD) to join its close-knit team. The veterinarian will provide high-quality small-animal medicine in a collaborative, supportive hospital with experienced registered veterinary technicians and cross-trained support staff. The position offers a diverse caseload, strong surgical opportunities, dedicated surgery time, and the opportunity to pursue professional interests such as surgery, diagnostic ultrasound, acupuncture, rehabilitation, internal medicine, or orthopedics. The hospital provides preventative and wellness care, sick-patient appointments, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and diagnostic imaging. Its facilities and resources include dedicated surgery and dental suites, an in-house laboratory, digital and dental radiology, ultrasound, AI-assisted medical records, modern practice-management software, and in-house aquamation services. This is not an immediate leadership role. As part of succession planning, the hospital offers the possibility for a veterinarian to develop toward a Medical Director position over approximately the next two years, with support from the current Medical Director and hospital management team. Previous leadership experience is welcome but not required. The schedule is approximately 30–36 hours per week. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM–6 PM, with rotating Saturday mornings generally 2–3 times per month from 8 AM–12 PM.
