About The Position

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Must be a bright, friendly, and effective communicator in order to communicate with clients, visitors, veterinarians, and other hospital staff.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and move freely for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift 50 squirming pounds
Must be able to work in a veterinary environment with exposure to infection or contagious diseases

Nice To Haves

At least 3 years of mixed animal experience preferred (veterinary setting not required).

Responsibilities

Patient Handling & Restraint – Safely managing a variety of animals, from small pets (dogs & cats) to farm animals and livestock (equine, cattle, and more).
Clinic Maintenance – Assisting with cleaning, laundry, and general clinic upkeep to maintain a welcoming environment.
Medication Administration & Prescriptions – Administering medications and preparing prescriptions as directed.
Supporting the Veterinary Team – Assisting our Veterinarians and Technicians with procedures, treatments, and patient care.
Taking on Projects – Tackling tasks as assigned—with a smile, of course!
