About The Position

This course, HSS6105 Mixed Methods Research and Analysis in Health Sciences, focuses on the study of mixed methods research within health sciences. It emphasizes the integration of qualitative and quantitative approaches to address complex health questions. Key topics include designing studies, data collection and analysis, and synthesizing findings for comprehensive insights. Requirements

  • Hold a PhD in Health Sciences or a related field, or be currently enrolled in a PhD program in a relevant field and have completed doctoral coursework.
  • Have university-level teaching experience, preferably at the graduate level.
  • Demonstrate recent and meaningful engagement in research or related scholarly activity relevant to the course, as evidenced by publications, conference presentations, participation in funded research, science communication, knowledge mobilization, or other scholarly contributions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mixed methods research in the health sciences, including the integration of qualitative and quantitative approaches to address complex health questions.
  • Experience applying mixed methods study design, data collection, analysis, integration, and interpretation in health research.
