About The Position

The MitraClip Specialist I position is within the Structural Heart division at Abbott's new Westfield, IN location. This role involves assembling the lifesaving MitraClip device in a clean-room environment. The site, which began commercial production in 2022, is expected to employ over 500 team members by 2026, offering significant opportunities for personal and professional growth. No prior medical-device experience is necessary, as a comprehensive hands-on training program will be provided. Successful candidates should possess good attention to detail, a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work with small tools and materials, often under a microscope, as the role involves a largely manual assembly process.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to read, comprehend and implement lengthy, complex procedures written in English
• Ability to work overtime is required
• A Positive Attitude
• A Desire to Do Meaningful Work and Change People’s Lives!
• Ability to work with small tools and materials, often under a microscope.
