About The Position

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a Mission Test Administrator Associate to support SMDC. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related STEM discipline.
Experience with real-time flight-test execution in a Major Range and Test Facility Base environment.
Good organizational and leadership skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work in a stressful environment to perform duties with little supervision.
The ability to travel to Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands on a limited basis is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport for travel.
The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.
Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice To Haves

Active Secret clearance.
Familiarity with Ronald Reagan Space & Missile Test Range (RTR) and/or DoD programs and processes.
Experience with real-time flight-test execution in a Major Range and Test Facility Base environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead geographically dispersed teams with multiple efforts simultaneously.
Respond to documented user requirements and author test plans in support of range tests.
Review user requirements documentation; design, define, and document mission test plans; transform test plans into test scripts and execute those scripts.
Conduct risk analysis and provide risk mitigation solutions for mission execution.
Serve on console to support real-time flight test execution in multiple operator positions.
Directs range tests with some supervision.
Other duties as assigned.
