About The Position

This role is for a Mid-Level/Associate Mission Systems Engineer requiring a TS/SCI clearance. Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration. Candidates must be able to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, including testing for marijuana use. Access to federal facilities is required, necessitating a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. A TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.

Requirements

• Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card.
• Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.
• 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

Nice To Haves

• 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PhD, Master's + 3 or more years' related work experience.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or comparable software languages.
• Proficiency developing control algorithms, models, and simulations.
• Familiarity with space environments, mission design, and astrodynamics.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external customers.
• Experience in spacecraft, launch vehicles, or highly autonomous unmanned systems.
