Rowden is a rapidly growing European company specializing in operational edge systems for defense, national security, and emergency response. Founded in the UK in 2017, Rowden leverages advancements in AI, sensing, and communications to provide practical capabilities in environments with limited or degraded connectivity. The company focuses on delivering useful technology to frontline teams quickly, enhancing decision-making, and protecting people and assets. With over 200 employees and a strong history of delivering critical programs for the UK Ministry of Defence and national security customers, Rowden is also developing its own export-focused hardware and software products in RF and fleet management. In 2026, Rowden secured £25 million from the UK's National Wealth Fund to fuel international growth. This role is part of Rowden's founding US team, capitalizing on strong customer and partner traction in the United States. The Mission Success Lead, US, is crucial for representing the US operational community and driving revenue. This role involves lead generation, conducting product demonstrations and training, supporting exercises, and building advocacy among end-users. The individual will serve as a trusted Rowden representative on the ground, translating user needs into actionable insights for the company. This founding commercial role is ideal for an entrepreneurial individual seeking a career-defining challenge with significant potential upside. In addition to mission success responsibilities, the role includes operational duties in building Rowden's US business, such as supporting hiring, facilities, and compliance processes. The primary product focus will be Rowden's software-defined RF decoy product range, developed in response to operational needs in Ukraine. The 'Mimic' product received the Army Technology Excellence Award for EW Product Launch in 2025, with more products in development. The role will also involve engaging users with 'Dovetail,' an edge device management platform for configuring and orchestrating fleets of autonomous devices. Proficiency in demonstrating, defending, and providing feedback on these products is essential. This position reports directly to UK leadership and collaborates with customer success, business development, and product development teams. The role partners closely with Rowden's Director of Growth, US, to channel field insights into qualified opportunities. The ideal candidate is a recent veteran who has experience as an end-user of EW systems, communications, or related deployed technology, preferably with experience as both an operator and in a requirements or technology portfolio lead role within a PAE, understanding the lifecycle from user need to budget allocation.
