About The Position

Peraton is hiring a Mission Integration Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Mission Integration Systems Engineer on our team, you will work across program and supported organizations to promote cross-program coordination and technical collaboration to reduce integration risk and standardize systems engineering processes. You will also support the customer’s interest in applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering to their projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 20 years of systems engineering experience.
  • A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience.
  • A high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
  • Experience in a broad range of systems engineering sub-disciplines (e.g., architecture, requirements, testing, analysis, etc.) in both operational and developmental environments.
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate professionally and constructively with a wide range of technical contributors and customers coming from varied backgrounds and experiences.
  • Experience supporting and interacting with high-level government customers.
  • Broad experience with customer organizations and goals.
  • Experience applying MBSE and digital engineering.
  • Ability to facilitate government customer’s implementation of an Enterprise focused digital engineering Ecosystem.
  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
