About The Position

The Mission Critical Manager will lead the organization by overseeing strategic planning and establishing and maintaining operational standards for mission critical (data center) construction, ensuring alignment with financial and growth objectives. This position reports to the Vice President and is based out of the Ace Technologies Macon, Georgia office. The Mission Critical Manager will support projects throughout the region and must be available to travel to job sites located north of Macon, Georgia, as business needs require.

  • Able to lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 5 pounds.
  • Tolerant to prolonged sitting.
  • Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.

Responsibilities

  • Develops quality, performance, safety standards and processes for mission critical construction projects and operations.
  • Manages financial processes like forecasting, estimating, budgeting, and cost control to ensure profitability for scopes of work.
  • Builds effective teams with the capacity to plan, organize and execute assigned projects.
  • Monitors productivity, costs, and timelines to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Evaluates and implements new or innovative construction methods and systems to improve efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes.
  • Provides general oversight and direction to Project Managers on assigned projects.
  • Monitors quality and/or supervise the monitoring of quality to ensure that all installations meet quality standards.
  • Ensures company and project specific safety policies are followed.
  • Evaluates direct report employees and provides coaching and feedback on performance.
  • Supports company Safety and Human Resources policies and procedures.
