About The Position

Mission Control is a full-time role at Texas Health Fort Worth, a 726-bed, Magnet-designated hospital serving the community since 1930. This role is crucial in supporting patient care areas by transporting patients, delivering equipment and supplies, and maintaining necessary inventory levels. The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety protocols, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
  • 6 Months related experience Preferred or
  • 6 Months customer service Preferred.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.
  • Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude.
  • Excellent verbal communication.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful.
  • Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management.

Responsibilities

  • Transport patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.
  • Deliver and pick up patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services and other supporting items throughout the hospital.
  • Maintain par levels and cleans equipment in designated areas.
  • Adhere to Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy.
  • Willingly accept additional duties and tasks assigned by leadership.
