About The Position

The Mission Control role at Texas Health Fort Worth involves contributing to a teamwork environment, receiving excellent mentorship, comprehensive training, and dedicated leadership resources, with opportunities for growth. The position is full-time, working weekend day shifts. The hospital is a 726-bed, Magnet-designated, full-service facility serving the Fort Worth community since 1930, offering a wide range of services including cardiovascular care, high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, neurosciences, sports medicine, and emergency medicine. It is recognized for its accreditations and awards, including being a Cycle III Chest Pain Center, an Emergency Center of Excellence, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and a Level II Trauma Center.

Requirements

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
6 Months related experience Preferred or
6 Months customer service Preferred.
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.
Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude.
Excellent verbal communication.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful.
Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management.

Responsibilities

Transport patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.
Deliver and pick up patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services and other supporting items throughout the hospital.
Maintain par levels and cleans equipment in designated areas.
Adhere to Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy.
Willingly accept additional duties and tasks assigned by leadership.
