About The Position

The Mission Control II role is responsible for acting as the central dispatcher for the Mission Control department. This position involves monitoring various systems such as RTLS, Security Cameras, HUGS, Fire panel, generator annunciator, medical gas, and other systems related to patient and materials movement. The role also includes transporting patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas, utilizing lift equipment when necessary, and providing patient concierge services. Additionally, the Mission Control II will deliver patient care equipment, supplies, mail, and other supporting items throughout the hospital, maintain par levels of equipment in designated areas, and mentor Mission Control Level I employees as requested.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
1 Year of Related Experience Required.
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.
Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s Degree Preferred.

Responsibilities
