Our client is seeking a Mission Assurance Specialist to support a federal contract in Ft. Meade, MD.
Requirements
Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting mission assurance, continuity of operations (COOP), emergency management, business continuity, resilience planning, or related programs.
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Four (4) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
Knowledge of Federal and DoD policies, directives, and interdependencies related to emergency management, continuity, resilience, and critical infrastructure protection.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Nice To Haves
FEMA Continuity Excellence Series (CES) Level I Professional Continuity Certification or equivalent continuity, emergency management, or resilience certification.
Responsibilities
Updating and validating Mission Essential Functions (MEFs) through Business Process Analysis (BPA) activities.
Conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify operational risks, dependencies, and impacts to mission-essential functions.
Providing analysis and recommendations to support mission assurance strategies, continuity planning, policy development, and operational readiness initiatives.
Developing, implementing, maintaining, and exercising continuity plans, procedures, and policies to ensure mission execution during all-hazards events.
