About The Position

Millennium Space Systems, a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security, is a fast, agile small satellite company focused on national security space missions, including missile warning and Earth observation. The Mission Analysis Engineering team develops Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) and Design Reference Missions (DRMs) from customer requirements; models and simulates satellites, constellations, and systems of systems; and designs and integrates mission data processing algorithms. As a member of the team, the engineer contributes to modeling, simulation, and analysis for a program, study, or proposal. The work includes developing methods to simulate mission scenarios and assess end-to-end constellation capabilities; designing and deploying image processing, inertial tracking, state estimation, and optimal control algorithms for sensor systems; and providing tools and modeling platforms to validate system performance during on-orbit operations. The role works with technical and program leadership to deliver high-quality work products on time and ensure proposed mission solutions meet customer needs. The position is expected to be 100% onsite. Applicants must meet U.S. export-control requirements and be a U.S. Person. The posting also states that applicants must be U.S. citizens, eligible for a security clearance, and willing to apply for and maintain one. However, its Security Clearance field says the position does not require a clearance. Applicants must also satisfy the company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process.
