About The Position

As a Missile Model Developer/Analyst Intern in the Weapons Systems Engineering and Survivability group, you will have the opportunity to develop technical competency across various domains, including physics-based modeling and simulation, software engineering, mathematics/statistics, data-driven discovery, data visualization, and many others. You will develop these skills while working with various missile modeling tools used to study the performance of precision strike weapon systems.

Requirements

Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Experience or interest in either of the following: A data-processing language such as MATLAB or Python
Experience or interest in either of the following: An object-oriented language such as C++
Experience or interest in either of the following: Physics-based modeling and simulation
Experience or interest in either of the following: Software engineering using object-oriented programming
Experience or interest in analyzing simulation results to identify key performance drivers using data-driven statistical methods.
Ability to tackle complex problems using defined and documented processes.
A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Able to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance.
U.S. citizenship.
