The MIS Academic Program Coordinator oversees day-to-day operations for the Management Information System (MIS) Capstone Program. This role coordinates project intake, client agreements, team assignments, and deliverable timelines. The coordinator processes, tracks, and manages all legal and contractual documents required for Capstone client engagements, maintains project management systems, and ensures compliance with program guidelines. Additionally, the position oversees and advises MIS-affiliated student organizations and groups, manages student staff employed within the program, and coordinates student-facing events such as networking events, speaker series, and professional development workshops. The role also develops and executes alumni engagement initiatives, maintains and grows the MIS alumni network through targeted outreach, event coordination, and relationship management, and manages the operational functions of the Culverhouse MIS Advisory Board, including meeting scheduling, agenda preparation, materials distribution, and minutes documentation. This position provides high-level program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and administrative leadership across three interconnected areas: the MIS Capstone program, the Culverhouse MIS Advisory Board, and broader MIS student engagement and alumni initiatives.
