The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) Assistant Professor position within the Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics department at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. This role involves clinical and academic responsibilities, including training and supervision of OBGYN residents and medical students. A strong interest in research, education, and leadership is essential, as is involvement in starting a fellowship program. Expertise in chronic pelvic pain is desirable. The MIGS Section provides advanced multidisciplinary care for patients with complex conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, pelvic pain, endometriosis, abnormal placentation, and mullerian anomalies, utilizing surgical modalities like laparoscopy, robotics, operative hysteroscopy, and vaginal surgery. Faculty appointment will be at the Assistant Professor rank, with potential for tenure consideration based on credentials and recommendations.
