SpecialtyCare is expanding and seeking a Minimally Invasive Clinical Specialist I (MIS) to train and work in and around the Operating Room. SpecialtyCare offers paid, all-expenses-covered multi-stage training programs that include personalized, hands-on learning from in-person educators, simulation OR training, and instruction on sterilization, packaging, and troubleshooting techniques. This role does not involve direct patient care but supports laparoscopic and endoscopic surgical teams by preparing instruments and equipment for surgical procedures, thereby impacting patient outcomes. The Minimally Invasive Clinical Specialist I will be trained to enhance OR efficiency by providing logistical and technical support for minimally invasive surgeries, setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining all related equipment, including video systems. They will manage single routine procedures, understand tower functions, pre-operative setup, and instrumentation application. The role requires understanding the functionality and connectivity of video components, assisting physicians and clinical staff, completing documentation, ensuring supply stock, and sterilizing/decontaminating equipment. Participation in shadow and tray call coverage is expected, along with adherence to all SpecialtyCare and hospital policies and guidelines, and living the SpecialtyCare Values (Integrity, Care, Urgency, and Improvement). Other duties may be assigned.
