Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills, with experience operating point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate cash registers, process sales transactions accurately, and ensure the correct handling of cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and surrounding areas.
Ensure all merchandise is scanned, priced correctly, and bagged efficiently.
Monitor inventory levels at the cashier station and report any low stock to the appropriate team members.
Assist with restocking items and organizing displays when needed.
Follow all security procedures for cash handling and loss prevention, ensuring compliance with company policies.
