About The Position

The Minibar Attendant is responsible for replenishing and maintaining guest room minibars. This role involves providing friendly, courteous, prompt, and efficient service to all guests, aiming to create a memorable Minibar experience.

Requirements

  • Displays outstanding attendance.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2-3 year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and hospitality experience.
  • Proficient in English- verbal and written.
  • Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Luxury hotel/fine dining experience is a plus.
  • FORBES standards is a plus.
  • High volume, fast-paced experience preferred.
  • Oracle Cloud experience is a plus.
  • Micros POS experience is a plus.
  • Food Handlers card is preferred.
  • Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Consistently check, restock, and maintain proper par levels and presentation of all minibar items in guest rooms, paying close attention to damaged and/or expired items.
  • Adhere to FIFO (first in first out) rotation of minibar items.
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and functionality of minibar equipment (sensor refrigerator and sensor tray) and assigned service cart. Report any malfunctions and/or damages to IRD Manager.
  • Adhere to SmartCube procedures and report any malfunctions of device or system to IRD Manager.
  • Inform management of any situations where a guest may express concern or dissatisfaction.
  • Must be able to cross-train in other IRD/F&B related areas.
