  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex ownership issues clearly
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong organization and documentation practices
  • High integrity, discretion, and accountability when handling sensitive land and ownership information
  • Collaborative, self-directed work style with practical problem-solving capability and strong commercial awareness

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Accurate Ownership Analysis: Review and interpret mineral deeds, oil & gas leases, assignments, probate records, heirships, easements, surface use agreements, pooling documents, and curative instruments. Draft and verify legal descriptions and supporting ownership documentation. Coordinate agreement revisions and approvals with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel. Track execution status and maintain accurate agreement records throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  • Reduce Operational Risk & Delays: Proactively identify title and ownership risks that may impact leasing, drilling, production, or infrastructure activities. Support curative efforts to resolve ownership and title issues efficiently. Improve agreement turnaround timelines through organized documentation and stakeholder coordination. Help minimize operational disruptions through accurate, timely due diligence support.
  • Partner Across Teams & Stakeholders: Collaborate with Land Acquisitions, legal teams, operators, and landowners to support project execution.
