About The Position

West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. is seeking a Miner 4 - Trucker to operate equipment and manage materials within assigned work areas in the underground mining cycle. The role involves adhering to safe work procedures and supporting production, operational, and safety targets. The position requires the safe and efficient transportation of ore, waste rock, backfill, materials, and supplies throughout the underground mine by operating underground haul trucks in accordance with mine plans, traffic control procedures, engineering requirements, and company safety standards. This role also requires adherence to established procedures, effective communication, and a commitment to achieving production targets while maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards. Requirements

Possess a working knowledge of underground mining methods and mine safety procedures.
Strong commitment to safety standards and operational excellence, while maintaining high housekeeping standards.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Committed to continuous improvement and adherence to company policies and provincial regulations.
Physically fit and capable of performing demanding work in underground mining conditions.
Must be willing to complete a criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug and alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as an Underground Trucker or 5 to 10 years experience in a related position.
Underground Common Core Modules are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Operating equipment and managing materials within their assigned work areas.
Performing a variety of duties that contribute to the underground mining cycle.
Adhering to safe work procedures and supporting production, operational, and safety targets.
Safe and efficient transportation of ore, waste rock, backfill, materials, and supplies throughout the underground mine.
Operation of underground haul trucks in accordance with mine plans, traffic control procedures, engineering requirements, and company safety standards.
Adherence to established procedures, effective communication, and a commitment to achieving production targets while maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards.
Demonstrate the ability to follow direction and coordinate effectively with the Scooptram Operators, haul truck operators, and other members of the team.
Work closely with Scooptram operators and other mining personnel to ensure the timely movement of materials.
Maintain housekeeping standards in all assigned work areas.
Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and equipment defects promptly.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of underground mining operations.
