Alamos Gold Inc. is a Canadian-based gold producer with a strong track record and a commitment to social responsibility and environmental stewardship. The Island Gold District is becoming one of Canada's largest and lowest-cost gold mines, employing over 900 team members in underground and open pit operations in northern Ontario. The Mine Geologist (UG) role provides essential front-line geological support for definition and delineation drilling programs. This includes coordinating diamond drilling, interfacing with contractors, forecasting drill needs, and tracking costs. The position is crucial for grade control execution through geological and structural mapping, interpretation of mineralized zones, and the development and maintenance of 3D geological models. The Mine Geologist will collaborate closely with mine operations, engineering, and planning teams to ensure geological interpretations are translated into practical guidance for short- to mid-term mine planning and daily production decisions.
