We are currently seeking a qualified Journeyman Millwright (433A) to service our General Motors site in Oshawa, ON.

Requirements

2+ years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic or Millwright
A valid License (433A) with Skilled Trades Ontario
Promotes and exhibits strong safety practices
Experience in manufacturing facilities
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and pumps
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Experience in facility maintenance
Available for overnight shifts and flex-time schedules are required
Ability to commute to General Motors in Oshawa, ON for work

Responsibilities

Work closely with other maintenance technicians and trades persons to address facility needs and equipment operations
Performs Preventative Maintenance and Repairs of Industrial Facility machinery and mechanical equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, lubrication, cooling and exhaust systems, pumps, fans, tanks, and conveyors
Conduct routine inspection and testing of machinery and equipment for operations
Operate hoisting and lifting devices
Troubleshoot Facility equipment failures to ensure minimal downtime
Performs mechanical repairs to correct or adjust any facility malfunction(s)
Assemble, install, calibrate and align machinery and equipment to ensure accuracy
Ensures timely and proper completion of all work orders including documentation
Practice and enforce all company and site policies, safety protocols and procedures
Other duties as assigned
