As a Millwright, you'll play a key role in moving, installing, aligning, and maintaining heavy equipment and machinery while working alongside experienced professionals on some of the industry's most demanding projects. This role offers hands-on experience in equipment installation, rigging, and machinery movement while supporting critical customer projects. In this role you will: Move equipment and machinery using proper and safe rigging and lifting practices. Align, level, and anchor cranes and other equipment. Assemble and install supporting structures, rigging, hoists, and pulling gear. Connect pulleys and blocks to overhead structures using bolts, shackles, and clamps. Clean and prepare machines and component surfaces for installation and operation. Control the movement of heavy equipment through confined spaces and restricted areas. Dismantle, maintain, and properly store rigging equipment. Manipulate rigging lines and hoists to move or support materials, steel, and concrete. Select appropriate gear, cables, and shackles based on load requirements and job conditions. Signal and direct personnel involved in lifting and hoisting operations to ensure safe execution. Inspect and test rigging systems to verify safety and reliability before lifting operations begin.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of mathematics, measurements, weights, and load balance principles.
  • Ability to safely perform physically demanding work.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Flexibility to travel, work overtime, and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and fit-for-duty assessment.
  • Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for field work.
