About The Position

We are looking for a Millwright to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Regina, SK. As a Millwright, you will perform safe, reliable, and efficient mechanical maintenance activities to support continuous operation of the Regina chemical manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Millwright Technician is responsible for executing planned and corrective maintenance work, troubleshooting mechanical equipment failures, and supporting asset reliability and mechanical integrity. This role contributes directly to safe plant operation, equipment uptime, and effective execution of the site’s maintenance strategy.

Requirements

  • Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) Certificate recognized under current Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC) requirements, and possess a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license or ability to obtain.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment and supporting equipment breakdowns in a 24/7 or continuous production setting, with working knowledge of industrial EHS requirements and safe work practices.
  • Experience working within a planned maintenance and reliability‑based maintenance programs, and executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work orders.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with working knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, bearings, couplings, conveyors, rotating equipment and mechanical drives, with the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and P&IDs.
  • Experience with alignment, rigging, precision measurements, and mechanical installation practices.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Asset Management systems, preferably SAP PM, and demonstrate proficiency in basic computer use, electronic work order systems, and maintenance documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Executing planned preventive and corrective maintenance work in accordance with SAP work orders, job plans, procedures, and safety requirements. You will also maintain accurate documentation by completing SAP work orders, inspections, and maintenance records.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical equipment failures and supporting timely restoration of production during unplanned breakdown events, including participation in a rotating on call schedule with availability for evening, weekend, and emergency response as required by site operations.
  • Installing, repairing, and replacing mechanical components including pumps, bearings, seals, gearboxes, conveyors, and associated equipment.
  • Participating in equipment inspections, condition monitoring activities, and continuous improvement of maintenance tasks and job plans.
  • Supporting shutdown, turnaround, and outage activities, including equipment preparation and commissioning.
  • Participating in project design reviews, Management of Change (MOC) reviews, and other cross functional forums to provide maintenance expertise and feedback on equipment maintainability, serviceability, and reliability.
  • Participating in safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and EHS initiatives.
