About The Position

Taylor Steel Inc. is seeking a Certified Industrial Millwright to join our multi-skilled team. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery, including installing, aligning, and dismantling pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, and production equipment. Responsibilities also include working with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and drive systems, performing preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs, and modifying or enhancing mechanical attributes of production equipment. The Millwright will work closely with electricians, operators, and supervisors, and must adhere to all safety and lock-out/tag-out procedures. The successful candidate must be available to work an 8-hour day shift for the first 4-6 months, in addition to the regular 12-hour rotating continental shift.

Requirements

• 433A Ontario Certificate of Qualification
• Working at Heights Certification
• Valid Ontario driver’s license
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain documentation and navigate computer programs

Nice To Haves

• Experience in steel
• Crane troubleshooting
• Electrical knowledge

Responsibilities
