About The Position

The Millwright performs maintenance, repairs, and installations using a wide range of hand and power tools, welding and metalworking equipment, and other tools as necessary. The role applies millwright knowledge to service and repair dryers, lathes, clippers, splicers, saws, mobile equipment, and supply systems, including gas, electric, water, hydraulic, and conveyor systems. The position is an eight-hour second shift, Monday through Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Base pay is $25.72–$31.94 per hour, based on experience. A gainshare bonus plan is paid every five to six weeks.

Requirements

Ability to use hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, welding machines, hydraulic torque wrenches, soldering and metalworking equipment, lathes, grinding machines, ladders, and other tools as necessary.
Knowledge of metal fabrication, print reading, engine component identification and repair, castings, measurement basics, metal identification and structural steel shapes, and anti-friction bearing classification and identification.
Knowledge of compressor fundamentals, hydraulics, cutting, welding, metallurgy, electrical principles, alignment, lubrication, drilling, seals, valves, and conveyors.
Ability to apply relevant skills to repairs and service duties on dryers, lathes, clippers, splicers, saws, mobile equipment, and gas, electric, water, hydraulic, and conveyor systems.
