About The Position

As our next Millwright, you’ll play a vital role in installing, inspecting, adjusting, and repairing industrial machinery to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations. You’ll support continuous improvement initiatives such as SPS, 5S, and CI activities while ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety and Quality System requirements. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College degree or Trade School Certification (Millwright or Industrial Mechanic)
  • 3–5 years of experience in machinery maintenance
  • Strong background in hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Solid mathematical skills
  • Physically demanding work, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, and crawling
  • Long periods of standing and walking
  • Shift work may include days, afternoons, nights, or continental schedules
  • Overtime may be required

Responsibilities

  • Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine repair or installation procedures
  • Installing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools
  • Operating hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts for installation or repair
  • Inspecting equipment to identify malfunctions, irregularities, or wear
  • Adjusting machinery, repairing or replacing defective components
  • Operating machine tools (lathes, grinders, etc.) to fabricate necessary parts
  • Performing routine maintenance including cleaning and lubricating machinery
  • Constructing machine foundations
  • Assembling equipment prior to installation using tools and welding equipment
  • Training apprentices and new hires on job tasks and safety
  • Ensuring compliance with all Quality Management and Environmental Health & Safety Systems
  • Performing other duties as assigned
