About The Position

This position is for a Millwright at GM Factory Zero. The role requires flexibility with work hours and involves adjusting equipment, replacing parts, aligning machinery, and performing maintenance. The rate is $41.58 per hour.

Requirements

• Journeyman Card - Required
• 2-3 years of Millwright experience
• Experience with industrial doors

Responsibilities

• Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Experience with dock doors.
• Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
• Align equipment or machinery.
• Position equipment using hand tools, power tools, or heavy equipment. Welding and torch use.
• Adjust the tension of nuts or bolts.
• Communicate with coworkers to coordinate installations or repairs.
• Lubricate equipment to allow proper functioning.
• Maintain work equipment or machinery.
• Assemble mechanical components or machine parts.
• Bolt objects into place.
