About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is hiring a Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic in its Aggregates line of business. The role performs preventive maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and machinery, troubleshoots mechanical issues to minimize downtime, and supports safe and efficient plant operations. The position works primarily around moving mechanical equipment and may involve inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.

Employment is contingent on a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug and alcohol screening, and background check. Some positions require ongoing FMCSA-regulated drug and alcohol testing. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, with age verification required as a condition of employment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Familiarity with industrial tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age; verification of age is required.
