About The Position

The Millwright Level 3 maintains plant equipment and performs advanced maintenance and repairs. The role uses mechanical and power tools, work orders, schematics, and instruction manuals to diagnose and repair mill equipment. Duties also include welding and fabrication, maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic devices, installing mechanical parts, operating a forklift as required, training entry-level employees in basic maintenance, and working as a relief operator. The position requires following applicable safety rules and working in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. The hourly rate is $35.83. The role follows regularly scheduled shifts and may require scheduled overtime.

Requirements

• Welding skills.
• Ability to use an acetylene/oxygen torch.
• A wide range of mechanical skills and ability to use tools.
• Forklift skills.

Responsibilities

• Use mechanical and power tools to repair mill equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Use the work order system.
• Perform advanced maintenance on all equipment.
• Train entry-level employees in basic maintenance.
• Read schematics and instruction manuals to repair equipment.
• Weld and fabricate repairs and installations for mill equipment.
• Work on and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic units and devices.
• Repair and install mechanical parts for equipment.
• Operate a forklift as required.
• Follow all applicable safety rules.
• Work regularly scheduled shifts and scheduled overtime as required.
• Work as a relief operator.
• Remain alert and work safely.
