About The Position
At Beasley Group, we are committed to operational excellence, safety, and reliability across our manufacturing facilities. Beasley Forest Products is seeking a skilled and dependable Night Shift Millwright to support the maintenance and operation of our equipment and production systems in Hazlehurst, Georgia. The Night Shift Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the facility. This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and effectively during overnight operations.
Requirements
- Previous millwright or industrial maintenance experience required
- Ability to work overnight shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in industrial environments for extended periods
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable working around heavy machinery, moving equipment, and elevated areas
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions when necessary
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Nice To Haves
- Experience in sawmills, lumber, forestry, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Technical training or certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor system issues
- Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and equipment as needed
- Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or safety concerns
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and technical specifications
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and lockout/tagout procedures
- Collaborate with maintenance, production, and management teams to improve equipment performance
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
