Requirements

• Currently registered as a 1st or 2nd Year Millwright Apprentice.
• Mechanically inclined with a genuine interest in industrial maintenance.
• Eager to learn, ask questions, and develop new skills.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve problems with a positive attitude.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Respond to machine breakdowns and help get equipment back up and running.
• Assist with scheduled preventative maintenance and non-emergency repairs.
• Support minor electrical and electronic repairs.
• Monitor manufacturing equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Help maintain our facility, including offices and common areas.
• Assist with ordering maintenance supplies and tracking inventory.
• Support the Maintenance Manager by obtaining quotes and coordinating outside contractors.
• Document maintenance activities, machine setups, contractor work, and service records.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe maintenance shop following 7S principles.
