About The Position

The Millwork Specialist is responsible for efficiently building, and/or pulling orders for shipment, ensuring that the order is complete, accurate, and free of damage; appropriately lifts and stacks material on carts. This role is in the Exterior Days Division within Manufacturing and is an hourly, full-time, non-exempt, onsite position located in Lexington, NC. The work environment is in-person, Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
6 months to 1-year related experience or on-the-job training.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables and choose from workable alternatives.
Proficient computer and 10-key operation skills (at least able to type 45 WPM).
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to stand/walk on concrete for long periods of time.
Ability to qualify for driving powered equipment and operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
Ability to learn the LRT Gun.
Ability to use pneumatic tools.
Ability to work with others.
Good housekeeping skills.

Responsibilities

Appropriately lift and stack material on carts.
Lift up to 75 pounds (team lifting suggested).
Stand/walk on concrete for long periods.
Qualify for driving powered equipment and operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
Learn to use the LRT Gun.
Learn to use pneumatic tools.
Work with others, demonstrating patience.
Maintain good housekeeping skills.
Operate a handheld scanner to track material in warehouse locations.
Assist with physical inventories as required.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Comply with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
