About The Position

As a Millwork Moulder Operator, you will operate and maintain the Weining Powermat 500 Moulder to produce quality wood mouldings efficiently. You will set up the moulder for the profiles being run and handle materials throughout the manufacturing process, from raw product to finished moulding, while maintaining a smooth workflow.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Machine operation experience is required.
• Previous experience operating woodworking machinery.
• Ability to set up and operate the Weining Powermat 500 Moulder or similar equipment.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of wood species and their properties is preferred.
• Forklift certification is strongly desired, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish and English is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Weining Powermat 500 Moulder efficiently and safely.
• Set up the moulder for the profiles being run, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Sort material for gange rip, ensuring proper alignment and quality control.
• Handle materials from raw product through finished moulding with proper care.
• Move lumber between warehouses as needed using forklift operation skills.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to transport materials within the facility.
• Demonstrate knowledge of different wood species, including their characteristics and uses.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds while following proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
