About The Position

The Millwork Assembly Crew will assemble millwork products including doors and molding. This is a full-time position with a starting pay of $17/HR, located at 710 FM 306, New Braunfels, TX 78130. The role involves constructing and building stock and special order doors, including millwork trim, by gathering and fastening parts together. Work may occur on an assembly line with varying tasks depending on product lines. Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area is essential, as is attending team meetings and company training sessions.

Requirements

  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
  • Thorough understanding of, or ability to quickly learn production equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of, and ability to abide by, applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • The ability to adjust the controls of a machine or vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions.
  • Must be available and willing to work such overtime per day or week as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
  • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
  • Visual acuity is needed to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect products produced.
  • The ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at times, occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds, and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.

Nice To Haves

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • General carpentry and millwork knowledge preferred.
  • Successful completion of on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

  • Follows detailed instructions to construct and build both stock and special order doors, including millwork trim for customers.
  • Gathers and arranges necessary parts for products together in specified relationship to each other as instructed.
  • Bolts, clips, screws, rivets, compounds, trims, saws, or otherwise fastens required parts together.
  • Works on an assembly line where tasks and job duties may vary as different product lines are produced.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Attends team meetings and company training sessions as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
