About The Position

The Millwork Assembly Crew will assemble millwork products including doors and molding. This role involves following detailed instructions to construct and build both stock and special order doors, including millwork trim for customers. The crewmember will gather and arrange necessary parts for products together in specified relationship to each other as instructed. They will bolt, clip, screw, rivet, compound, trim, saw, or otherwise fasten required parts together. The position works on an assembly line where tasks and job duties may vary as different product lines are produced. Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area and attending team meetings and company training sessions are also part of the role. There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.

Requirements

• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Thorough understanding of, or ability to quickly learn production equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of, and ability to abide by, applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
• The ability to adjust the controls of a machine or vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions.
• Must be available and willing to work such overtime per day or week as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• General carpentry and millwork knowledge preferred.
