Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Cabinet Shop team. Cabinet Shop Associates support the manufacturing, assembly, and movement of cabinetry products used in residential and commercial construction projects. Opportunities are available across multiple departments including mill operations, cabinet assembly, material handling, picking, receiving, and general shop support. Associates may be assigned to specific roles or cross-trained based on experience and operational needs. Mill Workers / Machine Operators Operate woodworking and mill equipment including panel saws, edge banders, CNC machines, and cutting equipment Measure, cut, and prepare cabinet components according to specifications Read shop drawings Monitor equipment performance and maintain production quality Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work areas clean Cabinet Builders / Assemblers Assemble cabinet boxes, doors, drawers, and hardware components Verify measurements and ensure accuracy of finished products Install hinges, slides, and other cabinet hardware Inspect completed cabinetry to ensure quality standards are met Prepare finished products for delivery or installation Pickers / Material Handlers Pull cabinet orders and components based on job tickets Stage materials for production, delivery, or installation teams Organize inventory and maintain warehouse accuracy Safely move materials using carts or equipment Assist production teams as needed Receivers / General Labor Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and condition Load and unload deliveries safely Maintain organized storage areas and inventory locations Support shop operations with general labor tasks Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the facility
