About The Position

Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Millwork Assembler at our new Vancouver Millwork Facility located at 2601 W. 26th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98660. This role is responsible for the construction of doors and windows made to order. The position involves checking product and raw material specifications, transporting materials, applying mathematical calculations, maintaining housekeeping, and adhering to safety regulations. The company emphasizes a commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

HS Diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience.
Must be able to understand and communicate safety and other work-related instructions.
Alertness and ability to adapt to warehouse routines is required.
Warehouse operations environment with considerable physical exertion.

Nice To Haves

Experience in door assembly and related job functions.
Technical certification, or associates degree.

Responsibilities

Responsible for construction of doors and windows made to order.
Check product and raw material specifications (lengths, angles, size).
Transport raw materials and finished products to and from machinery, equipment and storage area.
Apply and understand mathematical calculations and concepts involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
Follow safety programs and ensure compliance of OSHA regulation.
Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
