This role involves operating milling machines, requiring a strong understanding of GD&T, Fanuc controllers, and machine probing. The machinist will be responsible for loading, unloading, starting, and stopping machines, monitoring machining processes, and ensuring workpieces meet quality standards. This includes adjusting machine settings, changing tools, and performing basic programming. The position requires a solid foundation in mathematics, metallurgy, and the ability to troubleshoot machine errors. A sign-on bonus of $1000 is offered for the first shift. Aerospace experience is a must.
