About The Position

As a Milling Operator, you’ll be part of our Shelbyville Manufacturing team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines and equipment as needed while maintaining proper flow of product to meet service level goals. You will also maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other associates, exemplifying 6S principals, ensure all products meet specifications, maintain quality standards of product following quality assurance on FPI, properly fill out all documentation and labels, and properly handle all scrap, rework, and mixed product. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to use and operate basic tools, equipment, & gages
Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions
Basic math skills
Basic computer skills
Light physical effort required, equivalent to lifting, pushing, pulling 5 to 25 pounds
Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality
Flexibility to work overtime
No written disciplinary action for violation of company policy, production or safety within last six months.
No written disciplinary action for attendance within last 12 months.
