About The Position

This position is responsible for the blending, cleaning, and tempering of wheat. The employee must monitor the proper operation of the mill, maintain a high flour yield, and ensure quality on all grades or blends of flours as specifications dictate. The role requires a strong sense of respect, trust, and responsibility, with a drive for continuous improvement and commitment to excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and perform mathematics.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
• Strong decision-making abilities required.
• Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.
• Ability to ride a man lift and frequently utilize stairs in a ten (10) story plant in Hopkinsville.
• Must be able to maneuver uneven terrain.
• Must be able to work multiple, rotating shifts and available for call ins.
• Available to travel periodically.

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary technical schooling is preferred.
