About The Position

This role is responsible for preparing a variety of routed materials for subsequent operations. The position involves working with composite, wood, and aluminum panels, utilizing hand and power tools, and operating large machinery for cutting and machining hardwood. The employee will also perform assembly work using epoxies and kit panels after final CNC operations. This position is for the second shift.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or bronze level WorkKeys certification.
• 0-6 months of experience in mill, composite, CNC, or related build experience.
• Must be eligible to meet requirements to access controlled information under U.S. export control laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage composite, wood, and aluminum panels for CNC operations.
• Process material post machining process by removing excess edge material, apply plastic-based filler to all edges, and return parts to CNC for final machine process.
• Use epoxies for assembly work.
• Kit panels after final CNC operations.
• Utilize hand and power tools including a panel saw to perform cutting, sanding, and filling operations.
• Cut and machine hardwood to specifications using large machinery.
• Perform other related duties as required.
