Mill Operator- 1st Shift
About The Position
Quanex is looking for a Mill Operator - 1st Shift to join our team located in Jackson, GA. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm. This role offers a competitive salary with bonus potential, 401K with a 5% company match (vesting after 2 years), a 15% immediate return on ESPP participation, medical, dental, and vision plans, employer-paid disability and life insurance, paid time off and holidays, and tuition support for degrees and continuous education. Responsibilities
- Quality inspection
- Machine operation
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Machine maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines, and notify supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues
- Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
