About The Position

We are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a mill machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for: Running batches of ink at proper mill settings Packaging finished product in various containers and applying labels Weigh-Up Batches : Following proper process order of addition. Shifting between auto and manual steps Mix Batch: Discharging pigment and operating mixer safely; following and adhering to all INX Mixer SOP's Creating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times Canning Operating the following: Material handeling equipment, including a forklift Acting as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data Completing scheduled maintenance and utilizing troubleshooting procedures. Helping with repacks

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3 months of related work experience
  • Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Be reliable to work assigned shift
  • Be flexible to work overtime as required
  • Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background
  • Be able to perform an active role with any multi-disciplinary teams
  • Good attendance and punctuality
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience, but we can train you
  • Mixing, mill, and repack experience
  • Previous experience in the ink industry

Responsibilities
