About The Position

INX International is seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. The company will train the right candidate to operate a mill machine and perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. Operators run ink batches, package finished products, maintain equipment, and follow established operating procedures and safety practices. The role also includes supporting quality control, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repackaging activities.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 3 months of related work experience.
Good math and basic computer skills.
Attention to detail.
Reliability in working the assigned shift.
Flexibility to work overtime as required.
Strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
Ability to take an active role on multidisciplinary teams.
Good attendance and punctuality.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience; training can be provided.
Background in the mixing, mill, and pump-filter industry.
Previous experience in the ink industry.

Responsibilities

Run batches of ink using proper mill settings.
Package finished products in various containers and apply labels.
Clean and maintain machines to TPM standards.
Learn and apply TPM knowledge in daily activities.
Weigh up batches according to the proper order of addition and switch between automatic and manual steps.
Mix batches by discharging pigment and safely operating mixers while following INX Mixer SOPs.
Operate Hockmeyer mills and maintain optimum overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) standards.
Create and maintain a database of existing formulas and processing times.
Can finished product.
Operate a press-out unit, pump-filter equipment, and forklift.
Act as a quality-control liaison by providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data.
Complete scheduled maintenance and use troubleshooting procedures.
Assist with repacks.
