About The Position

We are seeking a punctual and responsible individual who enjoys operating equipment, specifically a payloader, to be a part of our Mill team at our South Feedlot, located in Broken Bow, Nebraska. The schedule for this position is a rotating 4 days on and 4 days off.

Requirements

Individual must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
Individual must be able to perform maintenance and inspections at the top of grain bins/elevators and flaker, of elevations up to approximately 100ft.
Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally; 25-50 pounds of force frequently; 10-20 pounds of force constantly.
Standing and sitting frequently; walking, carrying, and lifting/lowering, pushing/pulling, bending, twisting, climbing, crawling, stairs, reaching/handling/grasping, and kneeling/crouching occasionally.
Mechanical interest and aptitude are beneficial.

Ability to use analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making.
Driven, organized, action-oriented, analytical, and ability to multi-task.
Individual must be team oriented.
Proven professional communication, presentation, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Operating the pay loader in a safe manner.
Understanding the feed ingredients and proper handling techniques.
Performing basic preventative maintenance, including replacing bits and changing oils and filters.
General cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
Learning the operations of the mill and flaker and be a resource to run the mill and flaker on an as-needed basis.
Assisting with repairs and maintenance on the mill and flaker.
Assisting with general mill housekeeping and cleanliness.
Assisting with all delivered commodities (loading and unloading).
